Nuch`s tdai Food in Alturas

I would never expect to find so good Thai food in this remote place. Garlic Chicken was great! Pad Thai with shrimp was great to. And yellow curry was good to.We came after closing hour but we were served anyway. And the service was really nice!Highly recommend! The only thing is that are closed on Sundays.

My favorite...spring salad rolls with peanut and plum sauce...oh ya....I welcome each visit with joyful anticipation!

We met with friends at this restaurant for lunch. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was a winning. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.

Love Nuch's! Some of the best Thai food I've eaten. A little pricey but worth it.

Friendly waitress. My food was half cooked, cold in the middle, and the only flavor was the pepper flakes. Even after telling waitress we still got charged full price. Wont go here again.

Ordered a fried egg over rice and pad ka pow- food was just like being in Thailand here. So good and authentic. I left with a Thai coffee with beans from Thailand. Was a great idea stopping here. Owners were really nice.

The food is good, but expensive and its small proportions. Inside is small and quant. Staff was friendly and helped me select my food. Loved the food, but the beef with noodles and mix vegetables was burnt. Definitely recomend the shrimp rolls. It would be 4 stars, but the main dish being burnt definitely is a problem.

Fast service fresh tasty food

Perfectly cooked prawns, I want to say el dente, almost crunchy, over glass noodles in a spicy sauce to make you sweat! The friendly family atmosphere cannot be beat.

Great food

Great food, had fresh spring rolls with 2 flavorful sauces. Nice surprise to have avocado and shrimp inside! My Pumpkin Curry had 2 huge shrimp, very tender and perfectly spicy curry. But when we got our bill, we were charged $1.50 for a small serving of white rice that we assumed came with the curry, considering that the bowl of curry was $14.95. Food was excellent and we would recommend it. But the add-on price for a small serving of rice soured our good feeling about Nuch's.

Very clean, extremely friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious. We had the shrimp in a blanket (dipping sauce is awesome), fried rice with pork and the garlic chicken, all of it was phenomenal. Then to top it all off we had the Thai doughnuts for desert and holy hell are they good. Made fresh and the dipping sauce is Afreakinmazing. If I'm ever back in the area I will be eating here.

Wonderful GREAT food great time

We got there after closing time, yet they still seated us and prepared us great food. The service was quick. The food was hot, and very attractive. The Rice was perfect. All of our dishes were very well done . The prices are fair. We had a great dinner, even though it was late.

Nice spot for Thai in Alturas, California. I ordered to go and the food was prepared in about 10 minutes. Waitress was attentive and thorough. Excellent flavor on all the sauces. Packaged so that juices didn't run out on my car seat. I'll be back as I travel for work, and will be in the area for a few weeks. A nice surprise! I would say closer to 4.5 stars as it was just a bit pricey but hey... I'm in NorCal and I always round up. Can't wait to try other things on the menu.

First time in this resto. Food was good but the services is sucks. We walked in and maybe made upset this pretty girl coz was interrupted on what she’s doing on her pc. We’re told to sit wherever we want, put the menu on our tableand not even with a smile on her pretty face. Another lady took our orders and after she served our food, she’s on the phone forever, not even asked how we’re doing. Got their attention coz we need our drinks to be refilled. Eventhough i’m craving for thai food, never ever go back to this resto 😠

I have never been here before tonight. I absolutely thought it was wonderful. We had the pleasure to have the green curry and I had an amazing seafood pizza. It was thoughtfully put together and definatley cooked with love❤ the owner had came out and spoke with us and we shared a few photos of Thai land and stories. The pizza was so tasteful and the dough was perfection. The green curry was absolutely sensational. Before I tasted it I thought it appeared to be very bland but it was out of this world. Hats off to them. I would suggest stopping here and definatley try something out of your comfort zone it will be worth it. They also gave me a sticky rice burger that I have yet to eat but it looks fantastic. Thank you again for filling my belly tonight it was magical❤

Food is not bad, but a bit Americanized for the Thai food lover. Tried to talk me out of the sticky rice that we enjoy for the steamed rice. I know what I like, we almost left.

Excellent Thai food. Very surprised to find quality Thai food in a very remote, rural area. Dragon roll was excellent, as was the Pad Thai and Garlic Chicken. Beats most big city Thai joints.

This was a great little place to get some food on the road. Great service and good food!

Always have the best shrimp Tom yum ,shrimp pad thai and shrimp fried rice ever. All ingredients are fresh and shrimps just so tender and spices are perfect. Place is clean and staff are very friendly. Alturas is very lucky to have this restaurant.

I come to this superb place from time to time since I like the good air that is outline this place. The team is very loyal and experienced. The service is certainly quick. Needless to say, the food they prepare is highly distinguished. I visited often and I was never disappointed. The rate is honest. I suggest this place to my friends and family.

This place is my favorite. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The crew is very receptive and the food they place on your table is so fresh and tasty. I never decline to have a good meal in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

Pretty good Thai food at higher than expected prices. Nice staff, clean premises, but dining room & outdoor space could use some sprucing up.

After days of travel w/ camping out & campfire cooking, what a nice treat to find real Thai food in downtown Alturas, CA. Air conditioning, great location and friendly staff. Lunch meal was so big, I got to eat my left overs @ camp that night. Hope to be back soon.

Terrible service, mediocre food. EVERY person in my group had to tell their order multiple times as they kept forgetting things or making the wrong items. The wait time was extremely long for the place being almost empty. The food was alright, but I would recommend it. Keep in mind that rice is not included in the meals, it is an extra side item.

In a bigger town I'd give 3 stars. Mediocre flavorless food but I know from experience that it's hard to do much better in Alturas. Ordered phad se ew and fresh spring rolls. The spring rolls were 90% rice noodle with cheap sugary sauce.

It's an oasis for people who like spicy food. The food was great. The wait is longer since the person taking the order is also the cook. But the food is worth the wait. The owner is very kind and welcoming. Would stop by again if I travel on this road.

Best Thai I have ever had. The place looks a little run down, but totally worth going into. Staff is very friendly and kind. Both my husband and I loved our dishes.
